Gottlieb is a tool. Xavier had a tournament resume. Washington beat 1 team in the RPI top 85 all year (#67 Oregon). Oral Roberts did smack Xavier, but had little else. I would have been fine if Oral Roberts got in, but over someone like NC State.

WVU has the worst RPI of the at-large teams. They are anywhere from 53-57 depending on what site you look it.

Nashville is an awesome location. Only about 4.5 hours from Cinci and a damn fun town. Should be warm this time of year.

I'm happy with it....looking at the entire bracket I don't see any place that i thing, "man, wish we were an X seed in the X region"...it all looks tough to me

I think, when it comes to Xavier, the only recent win they've had, that's worth anything; is St. Louis. Other than that, Dayton twice and Charlotte....
They say, evaluate the whole season. I don't feel a team who comes limping in, like Villanova and Georgetown last year, has any business playing in the NCAA tourny.

That said, I'm not worried about Texas but Florida State is the second longest team I've seen this year in person. The first being the Orange men.

Wow Gottlieb took UC to beat Texas.

Bilas had some really kind words about UC that were pretty dead on.

let's just hope the team plays a lot better on friday against Texas than we did against Louisville on saturday night.
if we shoot like that again, we will be going home early.

I think he picked us to win over Texas. Of course he would pick against ND. Maybe he still owes them some payments on those credit cards.

Those worried about FSU here is some good news should we make it to that game...

FSU's 16.3 turnovers per game is 11th worst in the nation.

We'll have our legs back (underrated aspect of yesterday IMO) and we won't be overconfident against a name team. Texas has a lot of talent and underachieved. I like our chances.

Cincinnati will beat Texas. St. Bonnie looked pretty decent today against Xavier, they might give FSU some trouble.

Cincinnati should beat Texas because quite frankly we aren't a good matchup for them. I think UC can win that game even if they don't play a perfect game. Also I will be rooting hard for the Bonnies.
