Seeding prediction thread
We will know soon enough, but anyone care to predict the seed.
I will predict based on years of UC getting screwed. UC will be a 7 seed in the West, with a chance to play Xavier early on.
We've had many great selection show moments over the year. Will never forget being at BW'3s in Clifton when UC got the #1 seed. Of course the asshat bartender was not a UC fan and said they were overrated. He didnt get a tip from us that night.
The year I was in Boston in 2006, when UC got jobbed and didn't get invited, the announcers even said as much.
All the great selection shows in the 90's at home with my dad as he filled out the bracket. The numerous pairings that led to games against Temple.
Just glad that even though I am in Chicago and dad is in Cincinnati, we will both be watching and filling out the brackets and UC will be in again.
Thanks Mick et al, and I hope Gruehls is watching it all from that big sportsbar in the sky. We miss you big guy.

RE: Seeding prediction thread
I'll play...is there a prize for the winner? jk
UC will finally get some love. 6 seed in Nashville.
XU will be an 11 seed and be palced in CBus. (Bobo's influence peddling gets them CBus.)
They will not be put in a bracket where they can meet up unless they both advance to the final four.
UC will be put in a bracket with tOSU or UK.
I don't believe for one minute that the committee doesn't try to set up "interesting story lines" for game.

I'll guess 7 seed with first round game against Harvard and Missouri the #2.

RE: Seeding prediction thread
I don't have a prediction. I'm just coming to the realization that it's win or go home from here on out. I don't I've ever had a greater emotional rollercoaster then with this years team.
This team gets tight when playing against teams they think they should beat. They just go for it when they are underdogs. If we go out, I want to go out against a title contender. Don't want to face a sneaky good team.
Go git em coach!

6 like last year. I would give Cats a range of 5 through 7.
Other to watch:
Louisville, Marquette, 3
Georgetown, 5
Notre Dame, 6
Xavier 11
Murray State 6
Wichita State 7
Purdue 11
IU 5
WVU 12
UConn 10

I have us as the last 5 seed, but I think a 6 seed is more likely, if that makes sense. Better chance of going lower than higher.

We have the wins for a 6 seed but I have a feeling we will be penalized.
