How do you know these two institutions would not want Lamar in their league (SBC or WAC) to be in their footprint? I wouldn't neccessarily be in favor of Lamar at the present time, but say by 2014-2016 they just may be ready for the move up with the finances being in place and an increase in attendance. That is presumptous on your part to rule that "the point is moot".

I'm so sorry.03-melodramatic

In my opinion, neither of UTSA or Texas State would turn down an invite to the Sun Belt, so in my opinion the point is moot.

There may be some outspoken UTSA fans against the idea of joining the Sun Belt and they may be drinking the WAC kool aid, but the powers that be at UTSA would be foolish to turn down an invite to the Sun Belt.
