Heads up, Troy fans
Those of you planning to make the trip to the 'ham in September will need to be aware of this.

They're envisioning an all-day football orgy, but given the Birmingham Park & Rec Board, brace yourselves for a fiasco.

The bright side is, UAB/Troy is the early game, so we'll likely be spared the worst of the logistical nightmare.

The article mentions a morning game...what time do you think that would be?

So what happens when they run out of drinks and food halfway through the first game and there is nothing left for the final two games. Birmingham will undoubtedly screw this up.

I've been to some bad games since starting at TROY, but the 2010 game at Legion Field was by far the worst. It was scorching hot with all that steel. It was so hot the parking lot melted and stuck to the bottom of our shoes. I dread going back there...

If had to guess, I'd say 11 or 11:30 kick off, and yes, expect a scorcher.

Not to mention their field is only 98 yards.

03-lmfao Congrats on the win, even if it was so widely disputed. I think those officials were fired over that, weren't they?

You'll be fine. It's fun to have message board rivals come by and introduce themselves. We yukk it up and have a good time. Actually has made for more cordial message boarding.
