MyBB ACC refs "honor" ref that ejected NC State legends
This seems inappropriate to me. What do you guys think?

I think that the major conferences should set up a reffing entity that trains refs and get their refs from that. Make sure to mix the ref's assignments up through different conferences so they wont' be accused of playing favorites and such. This could also even the inconsistencies in style of play from league to league.

As far as I know Karl Hess isn't battling terminal cancer or suffering from some other major aliment. Wearing his initials on their shoes is a slap in the face of all those people that are respectfully honored by such actions. Where I come from we just call that low class.

Couldn't agree more. Collegiate officiating is terrible, this would promote some competition at least. And the homerism that seems to seep in at times would be diminished.
