O-Line Musings
I can't wait to see the O-line depth chart when spring practice starts. Does anyone have a clue as to where it stands? Pegram will start of course and you would assume Volk will too since he started two games last year. That leaves a bunch of talented guys competing for the other three spots. I wonder if they would consider playing Ryan Brown at tight end as a way to get an extra big guy on the field. At 6-7 he would make an interesting target, and imagine the jumbo package with Brown and Schepler lined up as tight ends. That would be crazy.

I am most interested who Doeren puts in at center for Day 1 snap 1 ...then if that person keeps the job through to the Spring game.

The O-line is our ONLY ?

I am excited for the Womble/Bowers package they have been working out like crazy.

Interesting thought about Brown. He was a basketball player in H.S., so you'd think he's got some decent hands. He's also a little lighter than Krempel and Pitt so TE might be an option for Brown at least in some packages kinda like we did with Kiel.

From what I've heard, Loos is coming back well from his injury. Hopefully, we've got a good battle shaping up at OT and they all push each other really hard.

I saw him at the HASF kickoff and his face IS thinner than last spring. If he is working out a ton I am not sure if he will lose much weight but instead just exchange the fat for muscle.

He will have another dismal year unless he loses that fat. It's holding him back from making those sharp cuts.
