Bob Huggins Thugball [split] Big East Tournament 2012

The refs made it interesting by fouling out Naiper on a phantom charge call.

Anyway, it was a good game and a good win for UCONN.

Goodbye WVU, I am glad UCONN is the one who handed you your final loss. I won't miss Huggin's thug ball with bump, push and grab on every possession. WVU and Pitt both play this ugly brand of basketball and I sure won't miss it.

Huskies are peaking. Let's make a run and take down the fruits tomorrow. Fruits have got away with murder with favorable calls this year. The goal tending call vs. WVU. The foul against UCONN and possible goal tending for Melo at end of last UCONN game. I look forward to UCONN take down the fruits tomorrow.

Too bad Cinci, G'town, and Marquette are still in the league. Which tend to be just as, if not more, physical as WVU and Pitt.

So physical basketball is now a bad thing? Good to know.

I guess if you do not allow his precious little UConn team to drive to the basket cleanly every time, they play "thug ball", or do you consider them thugs because they steal something (the ball and wins) from your team?

Don't forget, Huggins tried like hell to get Yancy to WVU...

That being said, I think it is ridiculous to act like UConn isn't just as physical as the rest of the teams in the BE. Every team in the league is physical, that is how you win in the BE.

I agree. Truck got mugged on that one drive with about 42 seconds left. I'm still surprised no whistle was blown after he got knocked to the floor by Drummond on the way to the basket...
