during Foley's tenure, has been able to bring in a Freshman who becomes an immediate star in the league, and our men's team has not. Kim Sitzman, Anshel Cooper, and Taylor Gault come to mind. I'm not sure you could count Chastity Reed as an impact player her first season. Maybe there were others. Were Jocylyn Love and Alicia Cash stars as Freshmen? But can you can anyone name one impact player who came in and was an immediate star as a Freshman for our men's team during Foley's tenure as women's coach?

Nope

Maybe that's when we'll know we've arrived as a program. When we start getting Freshmen who can step in and be a star. Who knows. Maybe one of our incoming can fill that role.

Renae Renz was also an impact player for Foley. She was also a FOY. I hated to see her transfer.

I'd forgotten about her. She was a nice player. Sort of a Marian Kursch clone.
