Greene needs to be on the bench, getting his ankle a rest for tomorrow.

We always seem to come up a little short against you guys. With the exception of that one beautiful night 8 years ago!

Good game fellas. Too little too late for us.
Too much Greene tonight. Other than missing a few free throws, he could do no wrong.
I also felt like you guys were setting an assist record! Every flipping basket it seemed like. Solid passing on your end.
Your athleticism gives us fits too. We already are at a disadvantage in that department, and the third game in four days made it worse.
Good luck.

We won't see them until Saturday night, if at all, and I can still comfortably say John Groce is a d0uchebag.

Just got back from the game. Man how did WMU make a run after Stainbrook fouled out? Can we play one complete game? Let's beat Akron.

RE: MAC Tournament discussion
I have two observations after this game.
1. Quit subbing Jackson, Evans and Gaines together as a unit. We had an early 8 point lead made the substitution and the lead weas gone. That group kills the momentum every time. They all deserve to play as much as they do but not all together. It kills the offense.
2. Sendy did the right thing with about 10 to go by slowing the pace and running clock. The only problem is this team cannot play that way. We need to keep pushing a little longer before we go into that mode. Play smart, look for a good shot but don't waste 15-20 seconds at the beginning of the shot clock. We are not good enough in the half court to find a good shot consistently in 15 seconds.
Until the last ten minutes we played very, very well.

You are right about us not being a good half court team, but we better get there in a hurry. Everyone knows that playoff basketball is won in the half court game. We were more patient tonight and passed more. We just need to improve on what we did tonight.

This team really drives me nuts when our seniors turn the ball over for no reason at all.

We did, however only have single digit turnovers tonight. If that happens again tomorrow we'll be very tough to beat.

RE: MAC Tournament discussion
Sorry if someone posted this already, but what are KSU's postseason chances as they stand today after beating WMU? Meaning, was the win over WMU enough to get into the NIT? Will a win over Akron secure the NIT bid? I know any MAC team this year has to win the MAC tourney to get into the NCAAs, but just wasnt sure on the other postseason tournaments.
With that being said, I sure hope KSU can play 40 minutes, of focused/tough basketball vs the Zits tonight. Not sure how game after game this team has so many mental lapses, but here's to hoping that doesnt happen tonight @ the Q. I wonder what the crowd size will be? Last, Akron has been the MAC Championship game 5 or 6 years in a row, so let's stop that streak tonight and get Justin Greene into his 1st NCAA tournament game!!!
How many people on this board are making the trip? I know of 30 family/friends going to the Q tonight, all dressed in gold.... Let's go Senderoff/staff, make the pregame, halftime, & within timeout adjustments that are going to be necessary to win tonights game. No excuses if KSU loses tonight to Akron for the 3rd time this season.
