Big game in the Missouri Valley. Wichita St. (lock) up 61-59 on Illinois St. with 7:14 to go. Illinois St. with potential to steal a bid.

Northwestern eeks out a win over Iowa. Getting to 8-10 in the Big Ten will probably be close enough to give the committee an excuse to give Northwestern their first ever NCAA tournament invitation.

Wichita State loses. One at-large spot closes.

Illinois State upset Wichita State, unless Creighton wins that tourney there will be a bid stolen.

Now that I feel 100% certain that UC is in no matter what bat **** crazy, championship week crap happens--I want as many bids stolen as possible. This may or may not have to do with a certain school a few miles away feeling very bubbly. Or the large amount of alcohol I have consumed post Nova victory.

Luckily for bubble teams Creighton beats Evansville in the semi's to face Illinois State in the final. If the Jay's win no harm is done for bubble teams.

Florida Gulf Coast (15-16) is threatening to upset Belmont (26-7) for the Atlantic Sun, leading at the half 42-39.

Am really enjoying UNC taking it to dook. Down 24-48 at the half. Vitale probably needed a suicide watch to keep him from sliting his wrists.

Butler was blown out by Valpo in the Horizon Semi's last night ending a chance to make the NCAA tournament.

Florida's trying to hang around with Kentucky.

Missouri Valley Conference Final is coming up after UK-UF, if Illinois State wins they steal a bid and that conference becomes a 3 bid league (Creighton, Wichita State, Illinois State). Bubble teams beware.
