sad commentary and I'm guessing not likely all that rare elsewhere nowadys.
It gets major attention because UCLA was once an elite program and lead by venerable and impeccable wooden.
When giants collapse it creates a lot of noise.

One of the kids being hazed by Nelson at UCLA was Wooden's great grandson.
Wooden must be rolling in his grave.
As tough this seasin was, I am proud how Monty treated his players.
Sitting behind the bench several times and talking to parents, I was impressed how the players respected each other and all the parents stayed positive!
