Disappointed in Turner. I used to think that he was a class act but stories like this have surfaced before and if it is true (a big if) that he is not spending time with his children and providing them with some emotional as well as finanical support then I have lost a lot of respect for him. As a parent and a relatively new grandparent I can also tell you that he is cheating himself. One of life's great pleasures is spending time with your children, watching them grow up and having a deepening relashionship with them as they become young adults. I would not trade my relationship with my daughters and granddaughter for anything.

Rumor is that he is on his way to winning the "Shawn Kemp Father of the Year Award"...5 kids 3 women.. though the rumors go as high as 7 kids 5 women..

Ya, he's pretty much a piece of human garbage even though we don't want to admit it.

I don't know that it makes you garbage to father a lot of kids...now, if he neglects/abuses them or something, that's fair game for the "garbage" moniker.

Now I know why he hasn't donated to NIU

Yea...lots of child support and living in a mansion make it tough to send a hundred bucks to the school that gave you a chance to have such a great career.

Hell, let him save his money. Judging from a distance, he's going to need it. I wouldn't be shocked if his savings look like mine.
