That is strange. I thought all kids liked favored sugar water.
And most adults!

I like my stuff watered down...sorry for letting you guys down.

I also could point out that we haven't won 2 games in a row at any point this year too....but I don't want to squash your hope or anything. Be optimistic, please!

It's better than pessimism, that's for sure.

If we don't win two games, somebody clearly needs to say:

RE: NIU-Toledo
I know this is really really stupid to ask, but if a MAC team like NIU ran the table and pulled off the biggest miracle in sports history, would NIU be in the play-in game or be like a 15 seed? With the MAC stronger than the weaker conferences, is the play-in game more determined by conference or could a MAC team play in the play-in game if weak enough?

It is something stronger than Kool Aid hahaha. I know there is a better chance of winning Power Ball Jackpot than NIU winning the tournament (although I have had dreams of seeing the NIU logo along side something like a 8-25 record pop up on a TV screen after the CBS intro tourney music haha), but I just wonder if it is possible for a MAC team to be in the play-in game even if a team like NIU ever got in there. And now that I type this I am remembering there is not one play-in game anymore is there? The format changed I think to expand the field, so never mind hahaha.

Clearly NIU would be in a play-in game and the MAC would slap it's forehead so hard it would cave in.

I guess I shouldn't be surprised at the bi-polarity of fans...but man....one win and everyone gets crazy. One loss and everybody gets crazy. At least we don't have to deal with ties....I guess there is no in-between with fans.

All aboard the rollercoaster! ZOOM!

hahaha that would be awesome. I heard a WSCR report that SIU is ready to pounce on Weber if he is fired to bring him back.

I don't think people are actually seriously thinking it would/could happen or guzzling any kool-aid or getting crazy thoughts. It is just fun to discuss, and what if someday in some conference a team that has only a few wins gets hot (maybe gets some players back, etc) and wins their conference tourney. It is an interesting discussion where they would be placed. It might depend on the conference and who they were "better than" to win the tournament as to where they are placed.

Yeah like I said I have better chances of matching every PowerBall number, I was just curious how it would be handled.

Forget the fact the thought of NIU running the conference tournament is asinine in itself, do you really just ask if they would be in the play in game?

Lets say they win in Ball State and win the 5 games it takes to win the thing. Their record would be 10-24. You really have to ask if that would be in the play in game?
