Mens Basketball Post Season Awards
With the season winding down, I was taking a look at the post seaons awards. Just wondering what everyone thought. I put together these quick lists for each award (Listed alphabetically). Feel free to add to them if you want. I also know the awards mean different things for everyone (POY - Best Player vs. MVP, COY Best Record vs. exceeding expectations, etc...) Anyway...

Player of the Year (MAC Rank)

POY reminds me of 2009 when I thought Tillman was the best player, but didn't win the award (Bramos) because of where Ohio finished. But I think Mavunga is the best player in the league.

I'd vote for Dambrot, Watt, Brown, and Treadwell for the other Awards.

Mavunga did the majority of his damage out of conference. He hasn't been nearly as good since league play started. He neither leads in points or rebounds in conference.

Cooper is a more complete defender than Marshall.

I think Murphy should win coach of the year. He's outcoached a number of more established coaches this year with very little talent.

No mention of McCrea at all? Ill actually agree that Watt has been better this year for UB, but how can you leave a guy like this off the list...

He should be on the list instead of Lampley or Zeigler IMO.

McCrea is a stud.
