Sunday Men's BBall Televised
I notice the Sunday BBall game was being televeised regionally on Sports-Time Ohio, 1pm CST...

Anyone know how to watch on this side of the mason-dixon line?

Thx!

ESPN3.

Also, STO streams some of their games online. Check out their website.

I guess it would be too much work for NIU to let us know that it could be viewed on ESPN3.com instead of just STO...a channel that 90%+ of us don't get.

Sports Time Ohio is, I think, channel 662 for Direct TV.

The Mac streams all games at MAC-sports.com and click on central michigan live streaming. Akron at Ohio at 7pm on Espnu. Ohio's stadium holds 14k, I wouldnt be shocked if their is over 10k at the game. This game is the best of the Mac and 2 ncaa tourney caliber teams.

No, these teams may or may not make ncaa tourney but they are as good as several teams that will be in it!

Both teams RPIs are 60 or higher. Typical RPIs for NIT teams. Just sayin

Neither team may make ncaa but when the field of 65 comes out, I am sure Akron and Ohio will be as good as some of the teams. If you watch the game, I bet the broadcasters will be saying the samething.

It's showing up for me. Select "Basketball" and "Upcoming" and you should see it.

Great crowd at the Ohio, Akron game on espnu. Game looks like a bigten game. Mac fans need to step up attendance at bball and ftball games. Attendance is one of the biggest things holding the conference back!

Bad result for the MAC. Our tourney team is now likely to have an RPI around 70. Maybe a 14 or 15 seed.

I think that quite a few of us are excited for the future and will show up to more games even next year. I am not sure about the students but it has to start somewhere.

The game was played in front of over 8000 people on espnu it was great for the Mac. Akron is still number 1 seed for Mac tourney. You have to win Mac tourney to make ncaa tourney. The Mac tourney champ will be seeded low regardles of rpi. If you dont see how this game was great exposure for the conference then you need your head examined. Whats up with your rpi obsession?

This season has really highlighted to me how flawed the RPI actually is. SOS is weighted far too high. It needs to get good weight, but the RPI puts far too much importance in it, just because of the fact SOS is hard to measure. If you could have an accurate measure of SOS, then maybe the RPI Formula would work, but currently is not working.
