Oh, there is. You just have to pay for it.

Besides, I already gave you the 411. Didn't I?

Looks like they replay at least some interviews on their Facebook page.

Nothing overly exciting. He wants to go to 12 teams in football with a championship game. No specific details mentioned.

12 is a nice number, I really don't want to get wrapped up in the overly populated conferences that will eventually contract.

Agreed. I've wanted the Conference to expand to 12 since Troy got in. An East/West set-up will be great. Play the title game at the higher rated seed...or, perhaps in Montgomery, AL at the new stadium.

To clarify...the renovated Crampton Bowl...I'm sure the new Stadium at AL State will be awesome, but not sure they'll want the SBC title game on their campus. I could be wrong though...03-woohoo

Yes I was refering to Crampton Bowl. It is very nice, have you seen it yet? Top notch, and just a hop, skip, and a jump away from a bustling downtown scene with tons of bars and restaraunts. and the best part about downtown Montgomery is the fact you can carry around open containers like on Bourbon Street.

I've been going by there every now and then...wouldn't mind TROY playing a game a year there to gather in some more of the Montgomery students and alumni from the River region...Pratvegas included 03-2thumbsup

Are you guys talking about this stadium: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/co...1_full.jpg

Or this stadium: http://www.convergencedesignllc.com/proj...ject_id=31

'Cause I'm not familiar with the Montgomery area or he ASU campus. They both come up as the Cramton Bowl, but the first one says it was renovated in 2011. But that one looks nothing like what I assume the renovated Cramton is supposed to be.

The first one is Cramton Bowl. We will not be playing a game at the new ASU stadium. Would you believe that they are building that new stadium having only averaged around 10K per game this past year?

RE: Karl Benson on Sirrius Radio tonight.
I didn't realize they were making that many changes to the stadium during the renovation. It looks like a completely different stadium then what they started with with the end zone bleachers gone. Good for Montgomery for putting the money into the stadium to keep it a viable product. That would be a good place for a Troy-USA game, if either school is willing to give up the home date.

Wonder if this means they will try to reproduce the Blue-Gray game??? Wish Mobile would do another update to Ladd stadium so we can keep the games we have and make the South games that much better until we get our OCS.

At the Alabama State campus?

I wondered how Alabama State could afford such a new stadium. Are they doing it from private financing or issuing bonds?
Just doesn't make sense, and I hardly ever say that about a football stadium construction.

Sounds like Benson has settled on a number in 12. Has he even hinted at a time frame?

Nice. Glad to see that the process will hopefully not drag out.
