Those fans are few, unless you hit a certain topic. For instance, Unnc fans believe they had the best recruiting class in the country, even though 13 out of 20 or so recruits had zero other offers.

I can get to Boone from Birmingham in less then 6 hours. It's less then 5.5 from Nashville. I think Nashville is further then that from all but WKU.

EDIT: After doing a little more research, Nashville is closer to a few more schools, like 30 minutes closer...

What sounds better Nevada-Reno or Nevada????? It would help our conference a lot more if the whole place would just call us UL or Louisiana!!!!! Just like UNLV wants that name---Monroe wants to be called ULM---Like Reno with Nevada just call us Louisiana!!!

Personally, I'm with ya all the way on this point exflash. But yall gotta recognize that people on here call yall ULL on purpose to piss yall off because as a fanbase you guys lose it when they do. Just relax about it and folks will eventually stop. Since a few of the more troublesome Cajun fans have left the board the whole name thing has improved anyways, which proves my point.

Thats kind of like Appy fans calling GSU fans Georgia State :(

I hope so, but I wouldnt put it past em', theyre nuts.

I joined that board and tried very hard to be friendly and respectful, I just wanted to chat and have fun because I liked FCS ball. All I received in return was insults and negativity based exclusively on the fact my team was FBS. those folks are nuts, they honestly believe their programs are better across the board than the Sun Belt's.

Yeah, sorry about that. Theres been alot of animosity built up in the FCS ranks over the years. Just imagine how CUSA fans have treated the Sun Belt, take that arrogance and multiply by ten, and thats close to what alot of FBSers treat the FCS schools.

I like all football so I watch FCS level ball, but realistically, most people do not. FBS football is much more popular and generally the teams are better. there are of course exceptions, but i'm speaking generally.

I am like you, getting kind of excited about joining the Sun Belt, if it happens. Glad I went over to the CUSA board though to know that I really do not want to be in a conference with Marshall again. They think they have no stink. Guess it's true what someone said over there about them being thrown out of the Mid-American with over 150 charges before they went into the SoCon for years. Not surprised that the NCAA had sanctions against them about the time they went to cusa from the mac. Guess I shouldn't talk bad against anyone, they just gripe me so much though. We have a great record against them so their arrogance doesn't make any sense.

It's probably mainly the CAA posters, they think they are better than anyone else. They call their conference the SEC of FCS. Especially when they get maybe 5 teams into the 20 team playoffs, then after all or most of them lose in the first round they get pretty quiet for a few days. They start a new thread about every month with something to do with which is the best FCS conference.

I don't know which Conference they were from because I don't know the difference in them. In fact, I don't know a lot of non-FCS fans who would know. It was a lot of them though, so I stopped posting there. It went from me trying to learn about the division to me constantly defending myself for being there when my team is in FBS.
