"Makes sense" - When does conference realignment make sense? Rarely. One chance to do it right is add App State.

I rank potential adds in this order

1. Louisiana Tech
2. Appalachian State
3. Texas San Antonio
4. Georgia State
5. Texas State.

If we go nonfootball adds, I rank my choices like this

1. Belmont
2. UT Arlington

We go to 12 football teams either way. I see at most 3 teams going to the alliance...in that case, we add 5. Amazingly we would be the only league at the end of this mess to add teams from their geographic region only...outside of the ACC.
