"The Alliance of Leftovers" is what they should be calling this crap.

The Left Behind Conference would also be fitting.

What CUSA & MWC should realize also is that the likelihood that the BE is going to get raided again by either the Big 12 or ACC is high which means that you can expect several more members of the MWC to be joining the BE for football only and perhaps all of the MWC (will keep hoops and olympic sports going) for football. It would give the BE the largest membership in AQ conferences and put them in many cities that host bowl games which is a big plus when negotiating a TV contract.

The most amusing is them criticizing the BE for spreading themselves too thin, it'll never work!

Just so you know it is very difficult in general o have a conversation about CUSA without it getting into a lot of (usually dumb) arguments (I am not saying they start them all or anything either of course). Take a look on their board and see how fast many threads tend to devolve into these sort of arguments even when it is 100% internal and NOT about realignment. They are quick to defend even imagined slights and often do so vehemently. Somewhat understandable at times but it does make discussions difficult at times.

Actually most of that is pi$$ing matches between the defector school fans and the Alliance school fans. It's either that or Sunbelt and LaTech fans pimping their schools on the board and ruining what would be good threads.

Say what? Which Belt fans were doing this? I know Tech fans have been doing that for years, but I don't know many Sun Belt folks that are sad enough to do the same. Other than a select number of UNT and FIU fans, the consensus on the Sun Belt board is the Alliance is a terrible idea.

Besides he is forgetting all the arguing they used to do to each other when they all were pimping themselves. Many ECU fans used to do it all the time leading to heated arguments between themselves and other CUSA schools who wanted to leave (not always starting it of course but it was nearly inevitable that it would happen). This was all before there were "defector" leaving this year and this was not the only example of the CUSA board beating each other up.

the C-USA board has always been a mad house. It's never been a friendly place to call home.

Incredible irony that C-USA posters claim that L-Tech supporters and others "pimp" their schools when their board is routinely filled with their posters making fun of other schools and what they have to "offer" C-USA and now their ridiculous Alliance. Just go over there once a week and I guarantee you there will be a thread asking for the "high and mighty" to analyze the strengths (and mostly the weaknesses) of C-USA to be candidates. I got the biggest kick outta their analysis of what Temple brings, as if Temple was even interested in that Alliance thingee. Lots of laughs!

C-USA thinks EVERY non-AQ fanbase dreams of joining their ranks. it's the "Mean Girls" syndrome.
