ASU made a strong comeback to cut it to 1 and get the winning run in scoring position, but NIU holds on 6-5. I hate the Huskies.

ULM takes two of three from the Tennessee Volunteers, a nice series win for the SBC over the SEC!

ASU falls down 9-3 to Austin Peay. Fights all the way back to tie the game in the 9th, and pushes it to 11 innings and 8:00pm before finally running out of pitching and losing 10-9

We head to conference play next week 8-8. Not great, but pretty close to what we expected.

Cajuns let a game slip away Saturday and then kicked the ball today to lose 11-3. A series UL should have easily won.

Quote:It looks like UNT is on the verge of bringing baseball back, so I put in a call to Al Goldfield. The one-time UNT booster is auctioning off his estate just outside of Denton. Goldfield once offered to put up the funds to being baseball back at UNT.

But no, Goldfield is not back in the donor pool for UNT. He donated $1.5 million toward UNT's new stadium, but later parted ways with UNT.

Saw this blurd today... Looks like 2014 might be the planned start date..

eghhhhh!

I am SO ready to put 2011-2012 FAU sports out of my mind. Other then the stadium opening its been an unmitigated disaster.

Football 1-11

Basketball- Fell hard after confrence chmapions last year and yet ANOTHER 1st round exit from the 'Belt Tourney.

Baseball- After starting great, it now seems that injuries and dumb mistakes are catching up.

Here's to srping football and a brand new start.

Is it just me, or is the SBC waaaay down in baseball so far this season ?

RPI number 14 last time I checked.

Are we playing weaker schedules ?

MT's double-header loss to Lip-scum didn't help matters.

But we are very excited about our pitching staff after a plethora of injuries last season. Our hitting is another story.

Troy and FIU have struggled against tougher schedules, and everyone else in the league has at least one or two bad losses. USA has lost to everyone and their brother, MTSU lost 2 to Lipscomb, ASU lost to Northern Illinois, FAU lost 3 to Rutgers.
