EMU and NIU lose while BSU and BGSU with wins. 2-4 thru first 6 games. Toledo leading but is playing on the road. MAC can only blame themselves. MAC not even close to at-large worthy this year. Akron and Buffalo had their chance today and showed that the top of the Summitt is stronger than the MAC.

I don't think Ohio is even on the bubble for the NIT. you can look at the bad losses recently and that screams CIT not NIT. Perhaps they can compare February flops with Cleveland State in the CIT.

Good win for Toledo. Rockets are surging this month. They will be a tough out in March. Toledo is a program the MAC needs to be strong. If MAC can get EMU,WMU, CMU, Ball State, Toledo and Miami back to their historic levels they will improve rpi. NIU has nowhere to go but up.

Kent State is actually the only smart team in this league... These games mean absolutely nothing.. Any guy that is not 100% should have rested today and gotten ready for the rest of MAC play.

I know it isn't what fans want to hear, but at this point these games are glorified exhibition games. The only thing that is important right now is your seeding in the MAC Tournament.

OHIO rolls over UNC-Asheville, 81-62. wins for the MAC are few and far between today.

Bobcats played great defense tonite and hit some shots. Still a lot of missed free throws and 24 turnovers. Bobcats matchup vs vs UNC Ashesville inside and that let the Bobcats to pressure the shooters. Most MAC teams have inside threat that hurts Ohio. But the Bobcats hit the glass and the crowd was jacked. Offcourse it was black jerseys for the Bobcats. Offutt and Taylor with big games for Ohio.

I thought the NIT outside of taking the regular season champions that don't win their conference tournaments only gives out secondary bids to BCS conference teams over .500 that don't make the NCAAs.

Beyond that A-10 and Valley teams might show up in the NIT if there isn't enough majors to round out the field.
