Okay folks

Nominate one BBQ Joint in your city (ACC cities or nearby suburbs) and why you feel it is awesome

I'll start.

Dinosaur Barbcue...born from dedicated bikers. They studied their craft throughout the south and Texas. The place is a perfect mix of show and great food. Be sure to try our local specialty: Salt Potatoes

I like the Dino BBQ in Harlem better than the one in downtown 'Cuse (but use to spend a lot of time in that biker dive with AMAZIN' bbq)... Nice call!

EDIT: In Chapel Hill... not sure you'd call it a bbq, but love the BEER,food, and atmosphere at Milltown!

I'll list my 2 favorite BBQ spots in Raleigh (I'm a huge fan of eastern NC style):

The Pit in downtown Raleigh is more upscale in atmosphere (you can get craft beers, wine, liquor instead of just sweet tea), and the BBQ is awesome.

Ole Time Barbecue on Hillsborough Street west of the NC State campus is a small mom & pop type place with tasty meat & sides served by friendly folks. The sweet potato sticks are to die for!
