More Obama lies
It's the Republicans fault!!!!

Quote:http://www.examiner.com/conservative-in-...ll-tax-cut

Obama falsely claims no GOP Senators voted for payroll tax cut

by Joe Newby

On Monday, President Obama falsely claimed that no Republicans in the Senate voted for the payroll tax cut.

“Virtually every Senate Republican voted against the tax cut last week,” he told reporters.

There's only one huge problem.

The statement is completely false.

According to the Senate Roll Call, twenty Republicans voted for the measure to proceed, including Idaho's Mike Crapo and James Risch.

On the other hand, every Democrat but one voted against it, including Washington's Patty Murray and Maria Cantwell. Only John Kerry (D-MA) did not vote. Not one single Democrat voted for cloture.

Nevertheless, Obama took to the podium to falsely declare just the opposite.

The Daily Kos, always eager to prop up Obama, claimed the President was talking about another bill, S.1917, which includes a surtax on millionaires. Most Republicans did vote against that measure because of the surtax.

But even on that vote, Obama was not telling the whole truth, because one Republican - Susan Collins of Maine - voted for the Democratic measure.

It's not that Republicans oppose a tax cut, it's that they want the tax cut paid for without a surtax on job creators.

Democrats, on the other hand, really do not want tax cuts, but an end to the Bush tax cuts and a campaign issue.

And the President is willing to say anything, no matter how untrue it is.

Dude is a pathological liar. Pretty soon we'll be hearing about his wife, uh, er, Morgan Fairchild.

RE: More Obama lies
Uh-oh! Another Obama lie! Shocking.

Quote:http://bigjournalism.com/wthuston/2011/1...onal-news/

Why Isn’t Obama’s Teacher Lie National News?by Warner Todd Huston

During the latest campaign appearance disguised as a presidential press conference, President Obama uttered one straight out lie that stands out above the rest of them. To help sell his “jobs bill,” Obama claimed to have met a Boston-based teacher named Robert Baroz and intimated that Baroz had no job despite his excellent teaching credentials. The problem is, neither claim is true. Obama simply lied. So, where is the national Old Media to pin Obama to the wall over this out right lie?

During his presser, Obama introduced teacher Baroz into the national discussion of his “jobs bill.” Obama claimed to have met Mr. Baroz and lamented that Baroz was out of work.

"I had a chance to meet a young man named Robert Baroz. He’s got two decades of teaching experience. He’s got a master’s degree. He’s got an outstanding track record of helping his students make huge gains in reading and writing. In the last few years, he’s received three pink slips because of budget cuts. Why wouldn’t we want to pass a bill that puts somebody like Robert back in the classroom teaching our kids?" - Barack Obama

The problem with this little tale of woe? Firstly President Obama did not meet teacher Baroz. Robert Baroz did attend a Rose Garden press conference last September with a few other teachers, but the closest he ever got to the president was Baroz’ front row seat during the event. The two never came face to face, never shook hands, never actually met. Baroz saw Obama up at the lectern and Obama may have noticed Baroz sitting in the audience. That hardly makes for a meeting.

Secondly, Baroz is not out of work. He actually does have a job in the public education system in Boston. (Link to story verifying: http://www.bostonherald.com/news/regiona...id=1371584 ) Baroz, “now works as a literacy and data coach at the Curley K-8 School in Jamaica Plain, analyzing MCAS data and applying it to teachers’ everyday lessons.”

This is exactly the sort of out right lie that Old Media outlets usually love to make the issue of the day. In fact, this one is a perfect case for an exercise in if-Bush-Did-it. What if Bush was working hard to push a major initiative and uttered a bald faced lie like this one? Without a doubt today the media would be engaged in a feeding frenzy over the incident while ignoring the initiative part of the story.

Yet where is this story? Pretty much just centered in the Boston press. The rest of the Old Media establishment is ignoring this straight out lie.

Meanwhile, the press is also ignoring the fact that this whole “jobs bill” is likely just cynical Obama reelection campaign theater anyway. Neither Obama nor his Democrat Party are really interested in actually voting on this bill. Senate GOP leader Mitch McConnell (R, KY) tried on Thursday to bring Obama’s jobs bill to a vote and the Democrats under Reid actually went to the extent to change long-standing Senate rules to prevent a vote on the bill.(http://www.publiusforum.com/2011/10/06/o...publicans/)

It is clear that Obama and the Democrats want all the benefit of saying they have a jobs bill but not actually getting said bill passed into law. They just want something with which to beat up Republicans. In essence, this whole debate is another lie.

There is another example of this sort of cynical political game being played by Democrats and Obama that the Old Media has refused to properly report. For at least two years Obama has been chiding Congress in general and the Republicans in particular for not passing the several free trade agreements that he claimed to want. But the truth is, Obama himself was holding the agreements in his pocket not sending them to Congress for consideration.

So, while Obama was complaining that Congress was refusing to consider the free-trade agreements, the truth is Obama never gave them the agreements to even vote on. He was holding them so that he could use them for a talking point. Sadly, instead of reporting this story as a lie perpetrated by Obama on the American people, the Old Media simply repeated Obama’s scolding of Congress as if his claim was true on its face.

This president routinely employs lies, wild stories, and hyperbole in an effort to control the narrative. Unfortunately, the Old Media not only allows him to do it, but assists him in the lies.

Because the Old Media are all afraid of King Obama. Whatever the King says is true, even if they know it isn't. Oh to be a Democrat in 2012, secretly knowing that the guy you elected is a total hypocrit, liar, tool, phony, and failure. Just have to laugh. And to think they are going to vote for this goon again. Very sad.

RE: More Obama lies
Now appearing on Tracy Morgan's "Scare Tactics".......King Barack Obama!!!!

Quote:

Turns out the Republican boils down to a few basic ideas: They want to gut regulations; they want to let Wall Street do whatever it wants. They want to drill more. And they want to repeal health care reform. That’s their jobs plan.
So let’s do a little comparison here. The Republican plan says that what’s been standing in the way between us and full employment are laws that keep companies from polluting as much as they want. On the other hand, our plan puts teachers, construction workers, firefighters and police officers back on the job. (Applause.)

Their plan says the big problem we have is that we helped to get 30 million Americans health insurance. They figure we should throw those folks off the health insurance rolls; somehow that’s going to help people find jobs.

Our plan says we’re better off if every small business and worker in America gets a tax cut, and that’s what’s in my jobs bill. (Applause.) Their plan says we should go back to the good old days before the financial crisis when Wall Street was writing its own rules. They want to roll back all the reforms that we’ve put into place.

Our plan says we need to make it easier for small businesses to grow and hire and push this economy forward. (Applause.)

All right, so you’ve gotten a sense — you got their plan, and then we got my plan. My plan says we’re going to put teachers back in the classroom; construction workers back to work rebuilding America, rebuilding our schools — (applause) — tax cuts for small businesses; tax cuts for hiring veterans; tax cuts if you give your worker a raise. (Applause.) That’s my plan.

And then you got their plan, which is let’s have dirtier air, dirtier water.

Less people with health insurance.

All right so, so far at least, I feel better about my plan. But let’s admit I’m a little biased. So remember those independent economists who said our plan would create jobs, maybe as many as almost 2 million jobs, grow the economy by as much as 2 percent? So one of the same economists that took a look at our plan took a look at the Republican plan, and they said, well, this won’t do much to help the economy in the short term — it could actually cost us jobs. We could actually lose jobs with their plan.

So I’ll let you decide which plan is the real American Jobs Act.

I love when he says "independent economists". Always good for chuckle or hysterical laugh.

In 1970, U.S. crude oil production was at an all-time high of 9.637 million barrels per day---please see table and Figure 1. above. Also, please see my post "United States: Domestic Oil Production Reversed Decades-Long Decline in 2009 and 2010," here. And in a speech at Georgetown University in Washington, March 30th, President Obama said, "Last year [i.e., 2010], American oil production reached its highest level since 2003, and for the first time in more than a decade [last time 1997 - 49% -- D.R.], oil we imported [net imports of both crude oil and refined products -- D.R.] accounted for less than half the liquid fuel we consumed [i.e., 49% -- D.R.]."---please see table above and my post "US to Find 'More Oil at Home,' While Cutting Consumption: President Obama," remarks below, here. Currently, the United States still relies heavily on imported oil. In 2010, it imported 9.163 million b/d of crude oil and nearly 2.6 million b/d of refined products. Half of all U.S. net imports (imports minus exports) of liquid fuels, i.e., net imports of crude oil and petroleum products, etc., in 2010 came from the Americas---please see my post "Half of U.S. Liquid Fuels Net Imports in 2010 Came from the Americas," here. Moreover, please see my post "United States: Top 8 Crude Oil Producing States, 2006-Feb.2011," and U.S. oil reserves in my post "World's Top 22 Proven Oil Reserves Holders," here. -- D.R.

Obama a Christian? Give me a break.

Quote:http://www.nbcwashington.com/news/archiv...peech.html

Jesus Missing From Obama's Georgetown Speech
By Jim Iovino

Amidst all of the American flags and presidential seals, there was something missing when President Barack Obama gave an economic speech at Georgetown University this week -- Jesus.

The White House asked Georgetown to cover a monogram symbolizing Jesus' name in Gaston Hall, which Obama used for his speech, according to CNSNews.com.

The gold "IHS" monogram inscribed on a pediment in the hall was covered over by a piece of black-painted plywood, and remained covered over the next day, CNSNews.com reported.

What kind of Christian would ask for something like that to be done? No other President or their administration would have done that. The guy is not a Christian. He lies about everything, and he lies about his religion too. You cannot believe a thing this guy says. Seriously.

Edit: I'm shocked that came from NBC News.

2008 version of Obama.

The ultimate hypocrisy.

When congress decided to not fund the Czars, Obama added into the signing statement that he interprets the law to fund the Czars, so essentially Obama wrote legislature from the executive branch, just as he criticized Bush for doing.

RE: More Obama lies
Oldie but a goodie. I'm starting to believe his age is even wrong. All of the information regarding his birth and upbringing are missing alot of details. He may be the next Fausto Carmona. LOL.

Quote:It may be hard to believe but our President actually claims to have been born 4 years after he was born. Perhaps some kind of twisted turn on the Messiah story? See the evidence for yourself in the youtube video below. The claim is made around the 3:00 minute mark in the video. The march took place in 1965. His birth certificate says he was born in 1961. It’s just another one of Obama’s lies where the story doesn’t match up with the facts but no one calls him on it.

From a youtube commenter:
"I can't help but wonder how a Civil Rights March that took place in Selma, Alabama in 1965 had anything to do with the birth of Barack Obama in 1961.. Very odd indeed..." - aoaforever1

And when we check with Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Selma_to_Mo...ry_marches

"The first march took place on March 7, 1965 — "Bloody Sunday" — when 600 civil rights marchers were attacked by state and local police with billy clubs and tear gas. The second march, the following Tuesday, resulted in 2,500 protesters turning around after crossing the Edmund Pettus Bridge.

The third march started March 16. The marchers averaged 10 miles (16 km) a day along U.S. Route 80, known in Alabama as the "Jefferson Davis Highway". Protected by 2,000 soldiers of the U.S. Army, 1,900 members of the Alabama National Guard under Federal command, and many FBI agents and Federal Marshals, they arrived in Montgomery on March 24, and at the Alabama State Capitol on March 25.[1]

The route is memorialized as the Selma To Montgomery Voting Rights Trail, a U.S. National Historic Trail." - Wikipedia

Doesn't add up, does it?
