UNLV is about to be in the same conference as us, a new Memphis for Mike Davis.

Wasn't that UNLV game in Vancouver Canada? That was a hell of a UNLV team.

The one in 2008 was the follow up to that infamous game at Bartow Arena. I'm sure Calipari had the Memphis players whipped into a self righteous fury about all the UAB fans out to get them and throwing stuff on them.

It was. It was a long road trip... we played UNLV on a Saturday, skied Whistler on Sunday, went to Oregon on Monday and we played the Ducks. Two losses back to back. Skiing was fun though except we hit a snow plow driving back down the mountain.

No doubt. Cal ran up the score as well. Pastner didn't do that tonight.

UAB will regroup. In the future it will be UAB, Southern and Tulsa competing for the championships season in and season out! Much respect for you guys. I'll be pulling for you to win C-USA after we're gone. I could never not support a program "Clean Gene" built.

Don't leave out that we played Auburn at home on Friday then flew to Vancouver to play UNLV the next day.

A very good physical Auburn team and then one of the best teams of the 1990's the next day.

UAB coaches for years will talk about bad scheduling, but they wont top that year.

2 of the worst losses in UAB history and 2 of the worst seasons in UAB history owned by the same coach. Boys and girls, we have ourselves a winner here.

If Mike was a football coach his name would be Watson.

I was upset about not being able to watch the game but after the score updates on game tracker I'm glad I didn't. Maybe our last shot at the tigers in a long time and that's how we go out.
