On the Temple message boards, there are threads going about FOUR different conference destinations for our feathered friends! One for the Big East, one for the ACC, one for the CUSA/MWC alliance and one for standing pat with the MAC/A10. Link

Yep, and they won't win a league title in any of them.

Memphis has taken the last slot in the Big East. The ACC is out of the question for Temple, CUSA/MWC is a possibility with Memphis and UCF leaving, but is that so much better than the MAC? Best advice is stay in the MAC especially since with UMass and UB the MAC has an East Coast presence.

Temple was the worst football program in the history of college football. The only reason Al Golden and temple had some success was they got in a conference in which they could compete in and in spite of that, they have not won a title. Temple is missing one component that all MAC teams have: a stadium on campus which is a big negative. Lets see how many titles has Marshall won since getting into the sprawled CUSA.

Marshall was the big team to move to CUSA and UCF was an after thought. Now Marshall is left alone in a splintered conference and UCF is in the Big East.

Well, if Temple is able to convince yet another conference to let them in football only for no particular benefit, I guess more power to them.

I'd ask the same thing about Temple's stadium, but the obvious answer is 0 seeing as no one cares about Temple football or Mike Vick.

The original point was that it was a negative for a MAC school to have to play in an off-campus stadium. The link you gave was for Miami of Florida. Not hardly a MAC school.
