Every thing I've read implies that Boise State will be replacing WVU on the 2012 schedule. This is the first article I've seen that says otherwise. So Pitt just has the one hole to fill in their schedule.

I was workin on it last night and fell asleep. Really didn't see anything about Boise until after I posted it.

I did find another article saying Boise wouldn't join and the BE would go with 7 but an ESPN article says Boise would get the ok to move their other sports into the WAC a year early and most articles say WVU paid the difference in Boise's buy out for 2012. So, Boise State will probably fill WVU's hole in your schedule, it just hasn't officially happened yet. They're probably working on it as we post.

I left a quick edit on the bottom of the piece that there is smoke that Boise may join. Will be interesting to watch this unfold between now and June.

I'm okay with BSU, but only if we play on a green field.

I feel its their history and tradition. It helped put that program on the map so I think they should continue it. IMO

I guess Pitt is known for nat'l championships and VT is known for Frank Beamer...Boise has their horrible field. If they attend the games and don't have to see it on television then they don't worry about it.

Just guessing, but Beamer would paint the field pink if it meant going undefeated and winning a BCS championship.
