2013 PG JeQuan Lewis commits to VCU!

VCU's #1 PG target for the 2013 class committed to VCU yesterday afternoon before the Towson game. He hails from Dickson County, Tennessee. He's a 2-sport standout in both football as a quarterback and on the hardwood as a point guard. He played AAU with the Tennessee Tigers during the July evaluation period where he really caught our staff's eye as a perfect fit for havoc. The staff has been recruiting him heavily ever since. JeQuan had several schools come in to recruit him including Georgia (offer), Alabama, Northern Iowa (offer), Wichita State, Austin Peay (offer), Alabama, NC State and Tennessee. In the end it came down to Georgia and VCU, with JeQuan picking the Rams over playing in the SEC with the Bulldogs.

ESPN ranks him as the 8th best 2013 prospect in Tennessee and gives him a grade of 89:

He has been averaging 17. 3 ppg, 4.1 apg, and 3.9 steals per game so far in his junior season. His stats for the year can be found here:
