EMU's Latarrius Thomas (SS) will be at the combine. Way to miss that one, MAC...

RE: MAC at the NFL Combine
Former Toledo CB Desmond Marrow just missed the cut-off for the NFL combine. His stock has been rising and some are projecting him as a late round pick or free agent pickup. NFLdraftscout.com has him rated the #48 DB prospect in the draft right now and usually there are about 45-50 DB's at the combine.

Marrow has been in Florida working out.

Chi, Cle and Det aren't that far from Indy. I'd think they'd want this to be more regional, like Sea and Den (or at least KC).

Okay, dumb question - aren't most of these kids still in school? Isn't this like playing yet another football game, since they have to prepare and then participate in the actual combine?

No, most if not all did not enroll in classes spring semester so that they could prepare for the NFL draft.

When are they planning on finishing school then?

Are you sure he is going to the Combine?

Do you read that form as being conclusive?

EDIT: Here is the list of invitees. L Thomas isn't on it.

He never played a down in the MAC, but UMass's Emil Igwenagu (TE/FB) will be at the NFL Combine.

Some have already graduated too. For instance Desmond Marrow graduated in December. Eric Page has something like 3 classes to finish his degree. He might take a class or two first summer session, maybe even all three to get it over with. Or he might wait until he's established in the NFL, or even wait until he retires.

It all depends on the kid. Some won't graduate.
