NIU - 20,000 tickets
Iowa - 20,000 tickets
21,500 tickets (400 level) will ONLY be for sale on TM

PARKING LOT is not set. For you people that had problems with Iowa in 2007 now is the time to e-mail Shelley with your horror stories.

IMO, the emails about this should go to Jeff. He needs to be in the loop whether or not he delegates this issue to Shelley.

And the "plan" is to strongly suggest that the Waldron Parking Deck be for NIU?

That's fine but I think she is the one running in charge of the thing. AD Compher is more of a big picture guy.

The book is well worth it, IMO. Many pictures in it that I hadn't seen before. Front and back covers:

Don't like the fact that they are making the movie lot into $175 yearly donation to park there. Was a good tailgating atmosphere, I don't know if that will be the same with having the yearly donation now seeing that many of the people tailgating in there were fans that didn't come to all the games.

Look up

Yes I just looked thew the book all the way (without reading). It certainly helps that I have my picture in the book twice. At first glance it seems very much like the DC magazine except higher quality paper but looking threw it there is much more...and like I said I haven't read it year but I am very happy I got it...especially since I didn't get a hat.

The books went on sale today to the people at the kickoff. After that the athletes and parents are open to buy them. I would HIGHLY SUGGEST to everyone that wants one to call the HASF office tomorrow and place an order. These things were selling like crazy and I wouldn't be surprised if they were more than half gone tomorrow with them being sold out by Monday.

I was told that they are giving the books to the athletes and their families (as they should). These are part of the 500 printed, so the amount available to the public is much less. They will be sold out. Everyone on this board needs to request one (or more) to show them that there is a demand for Huskie stuff.

Yet another thing. For the first round of SF ticket purchases, you can only request as many as the number of season tickets you hold. If you want more, you need to indicate it on the form and your request will get pushed to the second round (assuming you want all seats together).

The small print run of 500 is a terrible mistake, in my opinion. The book could have been used as a wonderful marketing tool.

The whole point with making the movie lot the new spirit lot is because the old water tower lot for the donors and season ticket holders was not a desirable place to tailgate. They are trying to get increased donations and give a better game day atmosphere to the season ticket holders to grow the program. In total it will cost you $200 to park in the movie lot plus your season tickets. This actually peaked my interest to donating more money because of this change.

If you have 1-3 season tickets you will be able to order up to 4 SF tickets in the first round.

Second round is unlimited.

I don't think that's right. In the first round, you can't order more than your total number of FB season tickets.

Q: How many tickets can I purchase?
A: There is no limit on the number of tickets a person can purchase. However, there is a limit on how many seats will be allocated during the FIRST round. All orders received by May 1, 2012 will be included in the FIRST round. Season ticket holders and donors are eligible for the same number of Soldier Field tickets as they have season tickets, or four, whichever is greater. If they order more than they are eligible for, the remaining seats will be allocated during the SECOND round. Therefore all the seats will not be together. Fans will have the opportunity to decline getting better seats during the FIRST round and having all of their seats together and allocated during the SECOND round.

I thought she worded it correctly in her presentation.

An interesting dilemma for those who want to buy more SF tickets than they have season tickets.

Apparently she did not unless huskiebob and I are both deaf (which could be).

Yeah, I wish they would rethink the parking thing. We used to love the East lot, and then they killed that. Now, other than some students and a few donors, it's at least 60 % empty. Someone should look at the correlation between closing the east lot and switching the teams sidelines to the west side and our attendance. Has there been a decrease in attendance from the last couple of years where people could park on the east side and the team was on the west side, and the attendance in the year's since?
