RE: OT: The Walking Dead [Warning: Spoilers]
There was an internet ONLY episode of TWD that implied that Rick had a brother, I wonder if they could somehow pull that character into the TV series. The internet episode ended with that character surrounded by walkers in a truck outside Atlanta.

Interesting, tonight's TWD opening scene (for Rick Grimes last episode) featured the Charlotte, NC skyline, WHY?

Boo hoo.

Was excited to hear that they are actually producing movies (made for TV) that will follow Rick's new journey. Also said they are making prequels that will revolve around some now dead characters.

I've always wanted them to do a movie that showed what was going on with the characters as the outbreak unfolded while Rick was unconscious in the hospital.

That's one reason why I prefer Fear. We knew everyone's back story from the gitgo and new characters get an episode to catch us up on them.

RE: OT: The Walking Dead [Warning: Spoilers]
I thought it was one of the better shows in a while and look forward to the time jump. I thought they would hold off on the helicopter and it would be Maggie taking the ride but its actually better this way. I for one dont mind leaving the door opening for Rick to come back. But with a 6 year time jump that seems unlikely. Seems like they would be more advance in 6 years than it looks from the short previews

My hope was FTWD was going to join up with TWD because Fear seems to played itself out and turned into a left coast Walking Dead with a really low budget.

I enjoyed the show very much too. it opened up alot of future storylines. Looks like the whisperers are around the corner. We will still have a Grimes in the show too. I wonder when the first movie will be out. Do you think the helicopter got Heath too? Remember he got lost when he went out with Tara searching for supplies.

It was a little slow at times---but I liked it. Glad they left the door open for Rick to possibly return. With the time jump, Im actually intrigued with the reintroduction to Judith as a more important character.

Yeah, I have always wondered what happened to Heath. I thought this episode was great too.

Cailey Fleming, the actress who plays the older Judith, is my nephew’s half-sister’s daughter. I’ve known for five months that she was going to be on the show but I didn’t know what character she would be playing.

I didn’t know about the time jump so I never guessed it would be Judith!

How awesome is that? Congrats to her. Just a guess on my part--but Im thinking she will probably pick up a lot of the plot lines that would have belonged to Carl. For a young actress--she's landed what I suspect will be a plum role.

Can't wait for the whisperers arc. One of my favorite story lines from the comic. Hopefully they do it justice.

It's going to be interesting two key players Rick and Carl will be gone, who will take their story lines. I could see Daryl taking Rick's but ??? for Carl.

I can't wait for tonight's episode either. Judith with take Carl's lines that is an easy one. It would be a bit of a transformation for Darryl to take Rick's persona. Darryl has always been more of the macho type without many words or thought just a take action kind of guy. Rick was the leader and more cerebral than Darryl and was more likely to think before he jumped. For example, remember Rick's skepticism about Alexandria??? Rick didn't do much thinking for Terminus though, he walked right into it. Although, I think he may have buried some guns in a duffle bag before entrance.

So the Whisperers appear at the end of the episode. Are the 5 strangers Judith found scouts for the Whisperers?

I meant Aaron and not Paul. I sometimes mix up those characters. Aaron would be a good replacement for Rick.

I think the answer on leadership has been answered....no one will have compete control over all the camps. Michonne seems to have control of Alexandra.

Maggie is leaving I believe by end of season 9, if not season 9, early season 10. There will be a need for someone to step up for Hilltop maybe that's Aaron, but he doesn't seem like a alpha leader. Daryl spends more time a Hilltop maybe it's him with Aaron trying to reign in Daryl's impulsive nature.
