Oleskl - I doubt that you've "heard" a Miami fan say that. More likely you've read it on Miami Hawk Talk and Miami Hawk Talk is pathetic.
If you actually talked with Miami fans and they said this then I stand corrected. As a Miami grad who was at US Bank Arena cheering for UC, I think most knowledgeable Miami fans are happy to have UC on the schedule.

I am in full agreement with hencat and ctipton. I hold myself above making fun of other teams even if they make fun of us for the same reasons. People take these sports WAY to seriously, and need to get a grip. I go to every home UC football game, and watch every UC basketball game (and make it to a few). I love this University just as much as the next person, but I do not see that as a reason to hate everyone else who is considered a rival.

Actually HenCat I've heard it the past 2 years during the FB games versus Miami about the regular season FB attendance and heard more then I could handle from Miami fans that my family lives near over the Christmas weekend (before their bowl game).

I don't read MiamiHawkTalk very often unless somebody posts one of their threads over here, so I have no idea how pathetic it is overall.

Then my guess is that their comments had the desired effect.
