Observation on LB's and Jerry's crew
It seems we are getting some LB's that are actual LB size. Under Jerry's regime I think he wanted more speed and got it at the expense of LB size. Barksdale, for example, was probably a safety that they tried to make a LB. Wasn't Tranchiletta the same?

I like we seem to have gotten some LB size that can run. Awesome!

I had the same thought. The new LBs sure look good on paper... and that's about the only insight I can offer on them.

Goober still thinks he's at SIU.

He better have made the adjustment in Minny.

Minnesota thinks they're ready to take the next step - beat North Dakota State!

Tranchitella was a Novak recruit. Looking at the archives that 2006 class was terrible, as was Kill's first class.

But wasn't he the one that was a really good safety and struggled at LB after they had him switch? Who am I thinking of?

Tranchitella played safety and receiver at Driscoll, not sure if he ever played safety for us. Kube played safety and was moved to LB.
