The more I read, the more she seemed to be pro-BCS in her writings, turning her nose-up at the pro-non-AQ questions thrown at her by the non-AQ fans. I went on to find out that she is a graduate of Florida, and an avid Gator's fan!?!
Why in the wide-wide world of sports would ESPN put a pro-BCS chick in charge of the Non-AQ chat?!? I gave ESPN a piece of my mind, please chime in if you have the time...
MY COMMENTS ON HER BLOG ARE BELOW:
"Adelson: "There is a division between the AQ teams and the non-AQ teams and there always has been, and there always will be. That is just a fact of life"
Andrea Adelson 100% sounds like a BCS backer put in charge of the "non-AQ" chat, what crap!
Hey Andrea, why don't you have 20 randomly selected "BCS" teams play in Dekalb Illinois on the Huskies home turf and see how they fare.. most of the difference is in the built-in advantages given to them by the system created by them.
The BCS is a joke, the only real test of who is better is the all-FBS 16-team playoff, and you know it. All BCS backers are cowards, thats a fact."

"I just found out that Andrea Adelson is an alumni of FLORIDA! Why did ESPN put a graduate of a BCS school in charge of the non-AQ chat?!?
There are thousands of amazing sports-writers that are also graduates of schools in non-AQ conferences. Please supply us with one for this chat, it would be nice to hear the opinion of someone who's alma mater doesn't thrive on the immoral BCS AQ/Non-AQ situation...."
...and yes, I do have too much free time on my hands.
Relax man. So what she went to Florida? Her quote is exactly correct and anyone with half a brain knows that. You just made yourself look very silly.
NIU was the 23rd best team in the country this year which means there were about 97 team below them. A great deal of those are Automatically Rewarded (AR) teams. The gap is not large. The only large gap between AR teams and non-AR teams is that non-AR teams have to work for what they get, while AR teams are rewarded for conference afiliation.

Andrea has always been very positive about NIU and has always put more research into her stuff than others.
You are overreacting here...

Thats the feedback I'm getting. I still feel that anyone that says the non-AQ's are inferior AND ALWAYS WILL BE should be replaced by a non-AQ graduate/writer and loyalist.

Where did she use the word inferior?
So you're saying you want someone to lie about the AQ vs. non-AQ gap and pretend it doesn't exist. That's not very good journalism. None of us like it, but it's a fact that there is a gap and always will be. Nothing wrong with that, it is what it is.
