Biggest "3" in Campbell history
Rec'd this note from CU Media Services yesterday.......

The News-Gazette in Illinois is attempting to compile the "biggest 3-point field goal" in the history of all 345 Division I programs in celebration of the 25th anniversary of "the arc" in college hoops.

The good folks have asked us to come up with the biggest 3 in CU history...

Some possibilities...

** Scott Neely's 3 with 41 seconds left in OT gave CU the lead for good in a 72-69 win at NC State on Dec. 4, 1993, marking Campbell's first-ever win over an Atlantic Coast Conference school.

** Neely also hit a 3 on Jan. 12, 1994 to provide the winning margin in a 73-72 OT victory at South Carolina -- CU's 1st-ever victory over a Southeastern Conference school.

** Junard Hartley hit a 3 from the left corner (sense a recurring theme?) at the buzzer to give CU a 69-68 win at Lipscomb on Jan. 8, 2009 in an Atlantic Sun regular season game.

** Hartley's 3 with 1.4 seconds left (from the left corner) was the winning margin in a 57-56 victory over UNC Wilmington on Dec. 22, 2010 at Gilbert Craig Gore Arena.

No doubt these are the biggest. If you had to pick one, would it be the 3 at State...just because? The others were closer to the buzzer, though.
