First off, I blame it on the fact that maybe our players were just claustrophobic because of the middle school gym that Upstate plays in.

In reality, I think that this could be the most inconsistent Belmont team I have ever seen. The underachievement of the most talented collection of players this program has ever seen on one team is ridiculous. This could have been the team that jumped the barrier into being a 12-seed (or better) in the NCAA tournament. IF this team even finds a way to start playing consistently enough to win this conference full of teams that we should be obliterating, then we are looking at playing a top ten team in the first round.

Horrible feeling losing to that bunch, isn't it...

You hit the nail on the head. This team is inconsistent, not just game to game, but from half to half. We were up by 16 in the first half and tanked it in the second half.

The worst part about it is that it always seems to be in the second half that we tank. The losses to MTSU and Lipscomb happened solely because of scoring droughts in the last ten minutes of the game.

I bled out weeks ago.
