The Big Slubowski is 2nd in Perani Cup Points
The Perani cup has an impressive list of former winners as seen on page 3 of this weeks press release. I don't think a WMU player has won it before.
CCHA weekly news release

Slubowski is currently in 2nd place behind Miami's Reilly Smith. Maybe after tonights game they can switch places.

The top 5:
Overall Perani Cup Points: GP 1* 2* 3* Pts
1 Reilly Smith Miami JR F 18 3 2 1 22
2 Frank Slubowski Western Michigan FR G 12 3 2 0 21
3 Chris Crane Ohio State SO F 18 3 1 1 19
4 Dane Walters Western Michigan JR RW 15 3 1 0 18
5 Andrew Hammond Bowling Green JR G 16 3 0 2 17

Slubowski is gonna have a tough series ahead of him with the Miami offense. It would be amazing to have a Freshman win the award period though.
