That sounds about right to me, but I would put Newt's chances in SC around 50-55%

If the trend continues and if Nate is right then Newt will be the Republican candidate. Dang, I sure hope he's wrong.

The GOP will not nominate Gingrich for President. It simply won't happen.

You will see a "brokered" convention going past the first ballot, before you would see Gingrich as the nominee.

Exactly my thoughts - from what I've seen from Fox and CNN they're hyping the SC primary up like whoever wins will automatically be the nominee. Not true, especially if it's Newt Gingrich.
