I hope UC is really good for 20 years, regardless of who the coach is.
Yep, but I love Cronin. So nice to see him prove the doubters wrong. Nobody has taken over a tougher situation in college hoops. Even those that have had the death penalty. Some fans won't forgive him for going to Louisville. Some won't forgive him for not being Bob Huggins. Oh well. Hope they wise up quickly because they're missing an exciting team with a damn good coach.

The thing is a really strong conference season, a run in the BE tourney and/or another dance appearance and a decent run in the dance could really make us the hot program. Think about what Mick has been able to do recruiting-wise with absolutely no buzz or hype aorund our program. If he's got an NCAA tourney apperance from last year plus what will hopefully be a great remainder of the season this year (some high profile national tv wins like last night), I think he's going to really start catching some higher profile kids' attention. Kids are trendy and like whatever is hot right now. We're starting to get some major pub from national media and networks. Depending on how we end up this season, it could really help him get on a roll in recruiting.
No doubt. Plus UC's new style of play will help in recruiting.
Kids want to get up and down the court and run.
I honestly think there has never been a better time to be a UC Sports fan.
Butch is getting it done on the field and is a recruiting machine.
Cronin is a hometown boy who has rebuilt the basketball program.
Whit looks very promising and is not content with status quo.
The future Big East looks like a great match for basketball and football (Winnable)

Hard to argue with any of that. Not a bad time to hold a degree from UC either, academic rep has been trending nicely.

Yes sir. Great program builders in charge of both major sports right now gives Whit the ammunition to take the next step and build the Bearcat brand and fan base. Looks good from here.
