Interesting. Realignment that doesn't involve college athletics. I'm not from the area so it's really impossible for me to understand the dynamics of this situation. It sounds pretty bad from what you wrote, though.

Maybe if enough coaches complain they will re-assess their plan and make some modifications.

Essentially what they did was remove the 2 weakest teams from a league and replaced them with 2 of the stronger from another. Then added a top 5 program in Canevin and a new program in Imani. I talked to about 5 coach's off the record and they're all pissed. I highly doubt the WPIAL will rethink this and make the appropriate modifications.
