Makes sense when you think about it. Toledo figures the only way they can stop us from scoring 63+ on them is to hire one of our defensive coaches.

If true, that is a damn shame. I really like coach Tuke and I wish him well but it will be difficult to root for his success at Toledo.

Toledo is getting not just a good coach but a great coach.

What Tuke did this year was incredible; he lost his two most talented players for the season; moved a OLB to the middle; had to start 2 different redshirt freshmen, and somehow made it work. We lost a quality coach.

You guys are over-reacting. This happens all the time, coaches moving from team to team within the same conference. Besides, our offense is going to change next year anyway with Lynch taking over at QB.

We should feel good for Tuke. It's a great step up for him.

Guy deserves a promotion, not great for us that it's at Toledo, but I'm happy for him.

...any new JC players emerge from that meeting? You seem to be close to the situation.

just asked my sources in the football program (very very good sources) and they said they havent heard anything about it. especially with the position these guys hold, they would definitely know if a coach was leaving. for this reason i dont believe its true, but you never know...

No mention on HuskieWire so far.

I think Tuke knew that when Doeren left that Canada would be ahead of him for the head gig.

He needs to move up to DC to get to his ultimate goal.
