Ratings down 25% despite a better day of the week this year.

Attendance

38,274 vs. 38,328

Rutgers vs ISU had more fans in attendance, but consider this.

"The weather outside Yankee Stadium Friday for the New Era Pinstripe Bowl between Rutgers and Iowa State was 50 degrees and sunny, warmer than some Opening Days."

Meanwhile Syracuse and K-State fans had to deal with a snow storm.

Pinstripe Bowl 2011 = 2.1

Pinstripe Bowl 2010 = 2.63

Not to split hairs, but that's a 20% drop, not a 25% drop. Either way, it's the TV ratings equivalent of an ass-kicking.

LOL yeah i initially did my math wrong...went up vs going down...did it in my head.
