It's sort of becoming like John Kerry being a Vietnam veteran.

Maybe to you...not me. I think his speech was dead on to what TRUE conservatism is. I am sure NeoCons think otherwise.03-idea

I'm guessing if she did you wouldn't hate her near as much.

I'd feel the same about it as I would the Blue Republican movement. I have strong philosophic differences. But if you embrace freedom and liberty instead of telling me what I can and cannot do through government, you're on the same team. Liberty and freedom brings people together, even people with huge ideological differences. Big government is what divides us.

Sorry it took so long to reply, I was staring at the Huntsman daughter in the little red dress.

It has to be soon.

RCP Average in South Carolina
Romney: 31.3
Santorum: 20.7
Gingrich: 19.7
Paul: 10.7
Perry: 5.0
Huntsman: 2.3

South Carolina will kill Perry and Huntsman assuming they even make it that far. Santorum not being able to get close to Romney in heavily Evangelical SC is shocking and if it holds will deeply hurt his campaign. Based upon what Gingrich has already publicly said, SC will kill his campaign too since he won't win. So it looks like SC will eliminate Gingrich, Perry, and Huntsman ... and severely hurt Santorum.

FWIW, RCP Average in Florida (which has lost half its delegates due to moving up its primary date)
Romney: 31.5
Gingrich: 25.0
Santorum: 8.5
Paul: 7.5
Perry: 4.5
Huntsman: 1.5

Honestly...GTS...Did you have a lot of problem with what he expounded tonight in regard to policy? I submit...he is RP light.

I've been polled more times in the last week than I can count, particularly the last 72 hours. They always ask for a second choice and I always say Gary Johnson. But since he is not in the GOP field any longer, if you forced me at gunpoint I'd pull the level for Huntsman.

Santorum, Gingrich, and Romney all have a history of big government policy both economically and socially. I could never vote for them under any circumstance. Perry cannot be voted for because he walks, talks, acts, and is as air headed as Dubya. I could never vote for him under any circumstance. That leaves Huntsman, who did a few good things as Governor (flat tax in particular) and would have a more sensible foreign policy. But sadly he is a global warming goon.

Perry is playing small SC city bingo on Faux tonight.

If you had Gaffney and Georgetown in line with free space, you're nearing bingo.

That is the fourth time Perry has mentioned Gaffney and Georgetown in the last 5 minutes. And Perry has a zombie-like stare when Hannity is talking.

Is Perry actually human?

I can think of 3 possible scenarios by which Huntsman's campaign makes (made?) any sense. Under none of the 3 scenarios did he ever have the slightest chance of winning the 2012 nomination:

1. Vanity: He's just a really, really rich guy who's interested in politics and thought it would be fun to run for President.

2. Mormon Conspiracy: He's secretly for Romney, and is just running to make Romney look better by comparison to the GOP base.

3. Long-Range Plan: He's running now to get his name out, and will take another shot in 2016 or 2020.

On Hannity just now...they said...NOT a good time tonight for conservatives. What they really meant....was..Not a good time for NeoCons...and they have no idea of this.03-lmfao03-lmfao

I think Paul and Huntsman would make a HELL of a good ticket that could beat the sh!t out of Obama.03-idea

The results are still coming in but it seems like Romney really cleaned up in the cities/towns close to the Mass. line, and RP did better in the more rural sections.

Yes..The Massholes you are describe want to bring their socialist sh!t to NH despite moving to NH border cities to escape the Mass. taxation and BS. Many of these Massholes still commute to work across the border in Mass. The rural areas are being settled by Free State Project members recruited from all over America to promote liberty. These people have moved to NH in an attempt to take over the political structure of NH. Most of them have moved to the rural areas. The goal is to get 10K of them in the state and basically take it over. The results tonight show it is working. The last election only got RP 9%.

That will be the second consecutive GOP primary contest where GOP turnout was TERRIBLE despite Ron Paul (and in NH, Huntsman) brought in tons of first time voters and crossover voters.

The biggest loser tonight is once again the GOP itself.
244,097 votes counted with a handful (2%) of precincts still out.

So up every so slightly from the 234,851 cast in 2008. With no Democrat primary. And with Ron Paul and Jon Huntsman bringing in tons of crossovers. I still say it was very bad for the GOP.

By way of contrast, South Carolina turnout up about 35% from 2008 to 2012 (446,000 to 601,000)
