Battle of the Boulevard
Lipscomb beats Belmont at the Curb 85-74. Wow. Belmont had a 22 game winning streak at home. Not anymore.

Wow! That's a big loss for the Bruins. We have a chance against these boys, if we play good defense & execute. But first -- win tomorrow!

i think it was rambo that said "if it bleeds, it can be killed"...the vests are 5-4 over their last 9 games. they are bleeding...they can be beat by this team, but they have to play well.

or was that another epic stalone flick? predator maybe

Belmont and Lipscomb is a great rivalry for those schools. What's ours now? It was UTC or App. Thats what I want to see come back. Just sayin.

We don't have a rivalry game anymore. I miss playing teams I don't like.

RE: Battle of the Boulevard
The Asun (transamerica) has been a catapult for schools who have achieved great success in their athletic programs. We know who they are, but I'll list them anyway. CoC, Troy, Ga southern, UCF, Ga State, FIU, FAU and now Belmont. If some of those schools were still in the conference, then I'd say we're just fine where we are. They aren't still there and we aren't fine.

Belmont's last home loss? You guessed it. Lipscomb. It's not really a road game with 1,000 or so Lipscomb fans are in there filling it up, too.
I do miss ETSU playing games where people feel genuine disdain.
