We have been here for five weeks now on the Gulf Shores side of Mobile Bay. Mobile TV stations are claiming it is now sold out!! These folks like football.

Can a person familiar with Chicago traffic give a frame of reference? I am interested in what different people considers traffic.

I commute on the edens and kenedy every morning and night, and I was the one who drove the sprinter through traffic in Birmingham.

not as much distance of traffic, but definitely slower. about 8mph

they had ib 65 going north COMPLETELY closed down due to a multi car semi rollover with injuries that was blocking all lanes.

in total there were 4 accidents that caused traffic in a 20 mile stretch. it was horrible.

we definitely need more fans out here. we are so outnumbered. its like when you see an NIU fan you are surprised.

Great time so far, glad to see the NIU fans holding their own on the strip... Where is the huskie nation going to be tonight? Also, anyone know what time tailgating starts at the stadium tomorrow?

We had no real troubles with Birmingham traffic. Louisville was another story. We got caught in basketball game traffic. Louisville actually draws fans for their basketball games. Imagine that!

I live in Birmingham and agree that the traffic sucks here. People do not know how to drive and that creates so many problems. It also doesn't help that the roads suck here and there are not a lot of major roads out of downtown, so it creates a lot a backups.
