RE: FGCU - KSU
It's not the offensive "philosophy" that is retarded, Mike. What I witnessed was a sheer lack of intensity both on the offensive and defensive end. Maybe the lack of intensity is due to not enough "plays" being designed for the individual players. The offense is designed for player and ball movement, not for individual players. Watching this game, they should've beaten this team in any gym, but especially @ home. The press and match up zone FGCU ran should've been blown up by our team....before I left, I saw the Owls get a rebound, outlet, one pass and score on a fast break. Turned to the guy next to me and said, "that's how they should be playing all game."

Unfortunately, they don't. Too much "I" on this team right now. All that said, great comment on the porn last names, Mike, got an outloud laugh!

I cant agree more. And this team has plenty of d-1 talent and athleticism...but they dont have d-1 fundamentals. I like what Preston is trying to do and when the team listens they play well. But for some reason they just start reverting back to playing MEball. I saw Spencer look Markeith dead in the eye multiple times against Stetson, when Markeith clearly had position in the post and then he would just shoot up one of those 25 foot contested shots. It was tough to watch.

Not surprised he likes Anderson. He's very unselfish and works harder then everyone on the team. I mean there's no reason we shouldnt be around 500. I mean frickin Harvard is a legit top 30 team and you cant tell me those players are naturally more gifted. It just takes good teamwork and communication. Which our Owls lack severely.

Tommie Amaker has put together some of the best mid major recruiting classes in the country since taking over at Harvard.
