I am new here but with that perspective geographically this footprint looks good. I know a lot of people laugh about conferences named the Big 10, Big 12 exc. if the MAC is going to have an East and West this is just about right. It appears "The U", Miami of OH, could switch with BG or Toledo but I am guessing the current configuration helps keep historic rivalries.

I have never been so excited to be starring down 0-12! UMass has a long way to go but I really hope we are able to quickly build some great rivalries with your schools! 04-rock

BTW so far very impressed by the knowledge of your fan bases.

I bet Umass will go at least 3-9. The bottom of the conference can be pretty bad, and even if we're improving most mid MAC teams are inconsistant and beatable on any given day.
+ there are 3 non-power BCS teams on that schedule. Indiana got beat by Ball State this year, and WMU beat Uconn. Umass might be next02-13-banana

•09/08 - Indiana

•09/15 - at Michigan
•10/27 - at Vanderbilt
