As much as I hate Urban Meyer he is my hero for one thing, banning Buckeye Twitter. I would love if Coach Doeren did the same thing.

That turned out to be false.

I saw it on a handicapping website but just found above link stating:

Northern Illinois Huskies
Player Injury Status/Updated Notes
Frank Boenzi DL Undisclosed Ques Sun - 12/5/11 Boenzi suffered an undisclosed injury in Week 14 against Ohio and is considered questionable for the GoDaddy.com Bowl against Arkansas State on Sunday. Ron Newcomb DL Leg Doub Sun - 1/4/12 Newcomb suffered a leg injury in Week 14 against Ohio and is considered doubtful for the GoDaddy.com Bowl against Arkansas State on Sunday.
Anthony Johnson WR Suspension out for season - 12/22/11 Johnson has been suspended for the GoDaddy.com Bowl against Arkansas State on January 8th due to a citation for underage consumption of alcohol.
Sean Progar DE Suspension out for season - 12/22/11 Progar has been suspended for the GoDaddy.com Bowl against Arkansas State on January 8th after being charged with a DUI on December 4th.
Devon Butler LB Undisclosed out for season - 9/10/11 Butler will miss the 2011-12 season due to an undisclosed injury.
Tyrone Clark LB Personal out for season - 9/10/11 Clark will miss the 2011-12 season due to a personal reason.
I would question who is considering him as questionable. We know Doeren wouldn't say anything so is this just an assumption made by the site to just be safe.

Yes Frank did hurt his back in the MACC however he has been practicing for the bowl game ...well at least HW has not reported that he has not practiced or was limited in practice.

He was so psyched during MACC week. I think what has happened is the back injury along with the physical pounding of playing D1 college ball got him down and thinking too much.

Tweet from him last night...

Cant wait till Jan 9th. #needabreak

I am guessing that he will play but I expect that he will not return. If he does return I hope he figures everything out first.

Maybe he just needs a break for a few weeks to get his aches and pains worked out. My God you people read too much into stuff. He has worked his ass off in the classroom and on the field to be eligible and play football.

Totally agree. I had enough classroom issues my first few years without football yet these guys do what is needed in the classroom along with everything that goes with playing D1 ball.

I just meant that if he is having an issue with playing and doesn't want to continue then I don't want him to play because other people are telling him that he should continue. If he is not happy then he needs to do what he wants...as long as he continues his education.
