HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – Unbeaten Northern Kentucky University aims for its 11th consecutive victory Thursday night when William Jewell visits The Bank of Kentucky Center at 7:30 p.m.

NKU is 10-0 overall, 2-0 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. William Jewell, is 4-4 overall, 1-1 GLVC. The Norse conclude the weekend by hosting Rockhurst (5-5 overall, 2-0 GLVC) Saturday at 3 p.m.

I was there. Very exciting. And now we're 12-0 after destroying Rockhurst..

No.11 in latest DII rankings, all signs point to an entrance in the top 10 by next release.

Real tests come later in the season vs Bellarmine, Kentucky Wesleyan, and Southern Indiana

Also, NKU has recently got commits from perhaps its best recruiting class ever.

I've seen some highlights of Tyler White. He can shoot. Only heard good things about the Rossi twins as well.

Sophomore G Chad Jackson (James Madison transfer) and junior G/F Eshaunte Jones (Nebraska transfer) will be returning as well, and each of them can play.

What NKU really needs is a 6'9+ Center. He doesn't even have to be "Good", just decent enough to hold his own in the post. If they can get that type of player in the next major recruiting push before the season, I'll feel alot more confident about our chances vs. the better teams in the A-Sun and big programs like UC.
