THAT was an exciting game! Congrats, Spartans. Didn't turn out how I wanted it to, but you guys were matched with UGA as much as LSU is matched with Bama. That defense is awesome!

BTW, Cousins, IMO, is better than Murray, though Murray is a Soph. Murray needs to study some Drew Brees tapes.

RE: Outback Bowl
Richt should be let go just for his "oh, just kneel the ball out and kick it" approach to the 1st OT.

You think he's wised up, and then he makes a boneheaded decision like that.

Richt has a higher winning percentage than probably 98% of the coaches out there, if they're not 2 year coaches. He's in the 700's in 10 years. I don't think he's going anywhere and don't think he SHOULD go anywhere. I go at it with these Georgia fans here in the CSRA all the time. I'm consistent. They go from, "He needs to go!" to "I love Richt" between weeks. They're happy for Grantham, Martinez needed to go, but hate Bobo. For real? Yeah, he makes some bone-headed calls, but look at the QB's under his tutelage. Stafford, Green, now Murray?

I'm not a UGA fan by any stretch, but I don't see them even winning the SEC with him (or anyone else) at HC. I guess he gets UGA to their best, but some obvious boneheaded decisions make me think otherwise.

and in other news, another fu*kin, dumb, piece of sh*t coach fails his team. Andrew Luck, the best qb in the country, drives his team all the way down to the OK St 25 yd line with tons of time and 3 TO's left. Instead of letting his all world QB try to score a TD, he decides to run it twice, use all the clock and pin their hopes on someone who's barely kicked the ball this season and has only converted about 75% of those kicks. Naturally the kid missed and it goes to OT. Harbaugh is a retard!

and in OT, the idiot who calls the plays, dials up 2 straight runs. I guess he doesn't know Luck is his qb

Not against what they're up against now and in the future.

What do the playoff bound, bye-getting, 49ers and Ravens have to do with this?

Luck didn't say it in so many words, but you could tell he was disappointed with the way the coaches handled things at the end of the game...

everyone should've been disappointed. the coach's excuse was that Stanford had run the ball for nearly 250 yds by that point, so it made perfect sense. Problem with that is, OK st was looking for the run at that point and the formation screamed 'running play.' The fact is, the way he handled it was straight out of the norv turner handbook for coaches who want to play it ridiculously safe. I could understand if his QB was a running QB whose throwing didn't inspire confidence, but Luck is far from that

Then Stanford is lucky they didn't get to play LSU. OK State's rush defense was one of the worst in the country.

RE: Outback Bowl
I agree, Reb. Oregon definitely did Stanford a favor by beating 'em. It gave them a more favorable post season matchup, even if they weren't able to make use of it...
