Sagarin has Kentucky by 27. I would be thrilled to stay within 27 of them.

Who knows? Sometimes teams so disregard weaker teams that they don't show up mentally. Stranger things have happened in the basketball world (though perhaps not too many).

Hard job for a coach to prepare for a game like this. We would not win one time out of 50, probably not one out of 100. But you cannot enter a game communicating to your players that you do not expect them to win the contest.

It will be interesting to see which of our players has the big night on the big stage. (Hopefully somebody will.)

I just hope we score in the first ten minutes of the game. That will probably be a moral victory of sorts.

I know this surely won't last, but at this point I'm happy. This is a tough, resilient team, who I have high hopes for if Will comes back soon.
